EEA’s mission is to take on the role of providing underprivileged students with the education they deserve. We aim to inspire the students in understanding the value of education and foster a passion for learning.

The EEA is a student-led organization that focuses on educating & helping underprivileged primary and middle school students in mainland China. This includes providing specific, and personalized online English lessons to whoever requires our help. Our mission statement is "to inspire students to understand the value of education and foster a passion for learning.” We believe that service is a two-way street, and with education as the key, not only can we aid less advantaged students to achieve their true potentials, but also provide our teacher members with a greater insight into the current educational inequalities, fostering global-mindedness.
More than 2500 hours of lessons are taught with 10+ classes each week. Collaborations with 3 underprivileged schools, other educational NGOs in HK & Mainland, and cooperation with the Bloom trust fund.

What sets us apart?
Personalized Lessons—Although we have designed a curriculum for each teacher to follow, every volunteer will adjust the course content based on the student's individual needs and teaching styles.
Community-Based—The EEA community extends beyond online lessons. Online celebration events are hosted during Holidays such as CNY, and students can contact their teachers whenever they want.
Two-Way Service — We believe in the model that service is a two-way street. Not only are the students learning from the teachers, but teachers also actively seek to understand and learn from their students.

There are many people in the world that do not have access to better education. Our objective is to help students with little to no access to education and provide them with the necessary materials for their learning needs sustainably.
